Two five star reviews incoming! I suppose that technically makes this a ten star review!

I was looking for an ethical breeder when I found Vicky and Mike in 2023. It was so important to me that the dogs had incredible lives outside of being mums. I had no idea about all of the other aspects that go into breeding and raising puppies. I was so impressed after having a conversation with Vicky that I knew I'd found the perfect match. Since then, I've made the 7,000 mile round trip twice and have two beautiful Nook-on-Lyne Labradors. That is how good they are.

I got Jim (a Honey and Diesel pup) when he was almost a year old and in the thick of adolescence. Despite the raging hormones he was truly the most willing, adaptable and sweet natured dog I have ever met. At almost two he's still a bit of a kleptomaniac, but we've turned that into a bit of fun and he now brings me my shoes everyday. Getting out of the house takes an extra 10 minutes but it's worth it.

Fast forward to 2025 and I've had Frankie (a Ruby and Diesel pup) for a month now and she is everything I asked for. So much personality, confidence (or sass - not quite sure yet…), and ears for days! She has slotted into our lives seamlessly and it feels like she was always here.

The real star though, is my beautiful Jim, who is the most wonderful big brother. The only time I've seen his patience come close to wearing thin was when it was taking Frankie far too long to sit for a treat. He put a paw on her bum and made her! They both have an infectious joy for life and everything is a game.

They both handled their journeys from Carlisle to Bermuda beautifully. Vicky did so much to prepare them - from extended times in crates to playing the exact noises of the jet engines for them. Anyone who has met Vicky knows that she goes above and beyond for her dogs.

The profiling is the piece I love the most. I couldn't imagine turning up and picking out a puppy and I'm pretty sure I would have read them all wrong! They are both exactly what their profiles said at 6 weeks old. Vicky picked Jim out to be a therapy dog and now that he can keep all four paws on the floor I can see how intuitive and gentle he is. Frankie is so confident and playful. Even though he is gentle, Jim is a big boy and she hasn't been phased by it once.

Thank you so much to Vicky and Mike for everything. I feel so lucky to have found them and to have been trusted with two of their pups. I couldn't imagine life without them.
