At Nook on Lyne Labradors we have Socialisation Protocols in place for puppies from 3 days old. Firework training usually starts around 2 weeks old when the puppies can start to hear sounds. This training along with other vitally important training is done through a Google Device several times a week until they leave. This prepares puppies for the big world and sets them up to succeed.

Below are just a few posts from new owners that we have received over the last couple of days following many firework displays.

“Douglas wasn't bothered at all by fireworks. He stood in garden and watched them in the sky and through the fence. Thanks again for all your hard work”

“The fireworks are bad tonight!!! Moose is acting like he's deaf as a doorpost, not a single reaction 😁”

“For a small village it was a pretty impressive display with lots of loud bangs. We even opened the windows for extra affect and Loxley fell asleep halfway 🙃”

“Well Mr Bailey is munching on his bone while all the fireworks are going off around us 😂😂”

“All that socialisation as young pups has massively paid off tonight!! Young man is not fussed whatsoever about the fireworks, simply curious!”

“Fireworks? What fireworks?”

“Not bothered one bit by the fireworks, can’t believe how calm she was”

“Fireworks going on and fast asleep”

Needless to say early socialisation pays off😁😁😁😁
