Hi Vicky. I hope you're both doing well and that you had a brilliant holiday, it looked beautiful!

I thought I would provide a Jasper update!

First of all, he is nearly 15kg at 15 weeks. Maybe it's time to tell my mum I didn't "pick a small one" 😂

We have had a dramatic fortnight to say the least. I have had a chimney fire at home, a house full of fire men for 3 hours, and 3 nights having to go and stay away from home with Jasper for the first time (luckily mum and Archie were willing to accept guests!). I can't believe what a brave clever boy he has been. He's often timid when experiencing new things or meeting new people (nothing that a nap doesn't fix to be fair!), so I was worried about taking him out of his little routine and home for a bit. But I can't begin to explain how phenomenal he has been. He clearly understands that if I'm around he's safe, and then he just sleeps, anywhere, in any position, for about 20 hours a day !! 😂

He has spent the last couple of weekends meeting new friends and family members, and visiting the local pub. Everybody tells me how amazingly well behaved he is compared to other dogs and pups they know and it makes me so so proud.

I keep hearing that puppies are hard work, but it doesn't feel like that with Jasper anymore. We are pretty much out of shark phase and he is so easily trainable / eager to please. His personality is just perfect and he's such an intelligent lad. He was allowed to play with tiny puppies at puppy class this week and he's such a gentle giant when he knows there are smaller dogs around 💕. His recall is phenomenal too.

I will never be able to thank you enough for considering me in the first place and letting me meet all the girls on that initial call. I know that any puppy from you and Mike would have been wonderful, but I'm so pleased I chose to be on Ebony's list and that I ended up having the biggest chunk in the litter despite secretly hoping for a little dog 😂. This beautiful boy has changed our lives already, my days are full of love, joy and laughter and I cannot even remember what life was like before him.
