We had been looking for a Labrador puppy for quite some time and almost gave up on our search before we saw an advert on Champdogs for willows litter. This advert immediately stood out to us due to Vicky and Mikes exceptional ethical approach to breeding. Both Dam and Sire are clear of over 200 genetic conditions, meaning the puppies are also clear. After an initial questionnaire and WhatsApp call, we were lucky to be placed on the waiting list and Vicky was in contact throughout showing us all of the preparations before the arrival. Once we found out that there was a boy for us, there was constant contact with Vicky through daily photos and weekly WhatsApp videos which always made my day, and it was incredible to see them growing day by day. The puppies are introduced to handling and smells from an early age, recall from 4.5 weeks, and a whole host of sounds and interactive toys, resulting in a litter of super confident, happy and playful pups. The information provided to us in the puppy pack was second to none, and it's clear to see the amount of time, care and love that each and every one of the puppies received. Vicky also enrolled us onto the puppy pod, where new owners can help prepare as best as they can for their new arrival. There's videos covering just about everything, and there is a also a Facebook group where you can reach out to other new owners and share experiences and knowledge. We have since found some of his brothers and sisters via the puppy pod and it's great to see how well they are all getting on. Magnus is settling well into his new home with us, and we have continued with the hard work that Vicky and Mike have put in from day one. His recall is fantastic, he more often than not takes himself to the back door when he needs the toilet, he is so intelligent and has already mastered sit, stay, look at me, and we're getting there with lie down. We look forward to many happy years with Magnus, and being first time dog owners it is peace of mind that Vicky is just on the other end of a text or phone call if we need her.
