Our amazing journey with Vicky and Mike began last year and right from the very beginning, after researching breeders and reading countless reviews, we knew that Nook on Lyne Labradors was the breeder for us. So we registered our interest and were more than happy to wait for however long it took, as we just knew we wanted one of Vicky and Mike's puppies and no other.
As we already had our much-loved black Labrador, Diesel, it was so important to us that any new addition would be the right fit for our family. Vicky took the time to really understand what we were looking for and carefully considered the puppy's temperament and personality that would complement Diesel. Her puppy profiling is incredible, and she matched us with our gorgeous Flynn (Mr Blue) perfectly.
From the moment the litter was on the way, we felt part of the journey. Vicky kept us updated with messages, photos and weekly video calls and shared all the important milestones throughout pregnancy and those precious first weeks. The excitement grew with every update, followed by our first visit for the big reveal and then after that, collection day couldn't come soon enough.
After visiting Nook on Lyne, it was easy to see the love, dedication and attention to detail that Vicky and Mike put into raising their dogs. The early development, sensory experiences and the wonderful start they give each puppy are truly second to none. You know from the very beginning that your puppy is being raised with so much care and thought.
Now that Flynn is home, we can honestly say he is everything we hoped for and a whole lot more. He is affectionate, confident, mischievous, incredibly handsome and has slotted into family life as though he has always been here. Most importantly, he and Diesel have formed such a lovely bond, which is exactly what we had hoped for. Watching them together brings us so much joy, and we know we have a lifetime of adventures ahead of us with our two boys.
