We recently purchased a puppy from Honey's litter and we can't speak highly enough of our experience with Nook on Lyne Labradors. Martha is our first puppy and we wanted to make sure that we had done all that we possibly could to ensure that our puppy was as healthy as she could be; having scoured hundreds and hundreds of ads on ChampDogs and the Kennel Club website, I couldn't find ANY with the same level of health testing offered by Vicky and Mike. We were therefore really keen to secure a place on the waiting list for Honey's litter, and we were lucky enough that Honey had a whopping litter of 11!

Vicky held an initial video call with us to chat through our expression of interest form and it was reassuring to see at this early point that Vicky genuinely wants the puppies to go to suitable, caring and happy homes. Once the litter was born, we had lots of regular contact with Vicky, including photos which she sent us and weekly WhatsApp calls. This really helped us to feel part of the journey to welcoming our new puppy home. We also gained access to the Puppy Pod online training course which was very useful - it covers topics like preparing for your new puppy, toilet training and more.

Since coming home, Martha has been wonderful and we love her so much. In particular, she has not been phased at all by the sounds she has experienced, whether that's the blender in the kitchen, the gunshots in the field behind or the fireworks on New Year's Eve (which she very happily slept right through!). In fact, she's a big fan of the hoover and loves to watch us use it! She has also seemed very secure since coming home, and very much enjoys her sleep at night. She's a happy and inquisitive pup and I think this is down to the early socialisation that Vicky has set up through her puppy development room (which, can I add, is pristinely clean and well kept, as are her entire premises). The whole process was also highly professional and transparent; the paperwork we received in our puppy pack was all clearly displayed, including the history of Martha's weight and worming, and we felt confident taking Martha home. As expected, all was well in her puppy check at the vets too.

We couldn't recommend Nook on Lyne enough and we are extremely glad that our little Martha had such an excellent start in life. We can't wait to take her on lots of adventures as she grows and continue the happy life she's been leading. Thank you, Vicky and Mike - you're doing a really fantastic job and we can't thank or recommend you enough! If you're looking for a Labrador whose health testing goes well above and beyond the breed standard, please do consider Nook on Lyne - you will have such confidence that you're bringing home an ethically bred, happy pup.
